Following more than six months of equipment introduction, commissioning, and trial production, Wuma Drive's intelligent manufacturing upgrade for the WMRV series has reached full-load operation. The newly commissioned production lines set new internal benchmarks for precision, consistency, and delivery flexibility.

Automated Worm Gear Truss Processing Line

The worm gear processing line integrates high-precision CNC machine tools, automated loading and unloading, and an intelligent control system. From raw material bar loading to finished worm gear unloading, the entire process runs without manual intervention.

Key production outcomes against the previous manual line:

• Tooth profile accuracy error controlled within 0.01 mm

WMRV Aluminum Housing Flexible Machining Line

To meet the varied production requirements of WMRV aluminum housings, the new line is equipped with 4 high-end machining centers and a gantry robot for fully automated loading and unloading. Each machining center simultaneously completes milling, drilling, and boring on 4 housings in a single cycle.

The flexible changeover system enables product switchover within one hour — supporting both small-batch multi-variety customized orders and bulk production runs of tens of thousands of units, without sacrificing lead time on either end.
